Description
As part of the ITE initiative in the Aubagne region (Communauté d'agglomération du pays d'Aubagne et de l'Étoile), and following the success of the periodic inspection and fire safety purchasing group, the "purchasing group" working group decided to look at a second purchasing family: energy. This concerns fuel oil, gas and electricity.
With support from the local authority, this initiative aims to:
- analyse the needs of companies and current contracts
- reduce the cost by means of a group effect
Qualitative benefits
- Promote the supply of renewable energy for network electricity and gas
- Limit distances travelled by oil and gas in bottles and tanks
Stages of the initiative
The initiative is just beginning. The current stage is to identify needs and find a coordinator.
