At the Première Vision textiles trade show in Paris, the Austrian company Lenzing showcased an innovative product arising out of the circular economy. Refibra - a cellulose fibre made from cotton and wood remnants - is the first to include recycled materials on a commercial scale. An identification system will be developed to track the fibre’s presence in finished textiles.
Lenzing is no newcomer to sustainable development, having already developed the fibre named Tencel.
