The Repar'acteur label can be obtained provided the participating company signs a charter formalizing commitment to a sustainable development initiative. Companies undertake to promote repair before offering to sell new equipment and to have an environmental management system that minimizes the impacts of their activities GOODS AND ACTIVITIES COVERED BY REPAR'ACTEUR Goods and equipment covered are consumer items which are not usually repaired. The activities concerned by this action are: watches and clocks, shoemaking, sewing, repair of household and electronic appliances, cycles, powered garden equipment, musical instruments, etc.
Qualitative benefits
- Preventing waste by repairing means: extending the useful life of objects, saving raw materials, energy and water, limiting the transport of new products and the release of greenhouse gases
- Making the consumer aware that repair allows him/her to be part of a new business model that improves purchasing power
- Developing awareness of repair craftsmen: the activity of repair companies that enter this network becomes more visible through promotional action carried out in trade shows, fairs, or open days. The professional is identified as a member of a network of companies, active in sustainable development

Technical resources
The companies that sign up are subject to inspection by the environmental consultant to the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of their département. Each craftsman receives a digital and hard-copy communications kit (posters, email signature, stickers, Répar'Acteurs logo) to be used on estimates, invoices, website and emails.

With the support of the Rhône-Alpes region and ADEME, the Rhône Chamber of Trades and Crafts was able to recruit a project manager to advise companies and run collective operations in the region.
