ADEME publication: Waste Awareness in Business - Waste Prevention Plans and Programmes (2010-2016)

Since 2009, local authorities, supported by the French environment and energy management agency (ADEME), have committed to local waste prevention plans and programmes (PPP), sharing their feedback via the A3P network. Leaders of these PPPs have played an active role in producing "Action & Result" sheets (available on the OPTIGEDE® website), which capitalise grass roots experience.

This thematic overview facilitates access to a (non-exhaustive) range of feedback, providing:

• a description of the approaches implemented by local authorities,
• a presentation of a selection of "Action & Result" sheets reflecting the diversity of the initiatives carried out in the various locations, together with a range of additional resources.
