Open Source Circular Economy Days 2017

Open Source Circular Economy Days 2017

The Open Source Circular Economy Days 2017 (OSCEdays) will happen between June 8-12 for the third year in a row.

The event aims to bring together and globally connect creators, experts, activists and innovators from the fields of open source, circular economy, sustainability, design, waste and resource management to develop and exchange ideas and to prototype systems, products and designs for an Open Source Circular Economy.

We believe that a sustainable, waste free, circular economy needs transparency, open access to information and open source solutions. We believe that with Open Source a Circular Economy is possible. The OSCEdays plants this idea in the world and by building a global community around Open Source for a Circular Economy we intend to co-create solutions together.

Like previous years, this year’s event will be globally distributed and decentralised. Everyone is invited to set up a local event – big or small – and connect it to all others. In the past more than 70 cities from over 30 countries and 5 continents took part.

We are looking for local organisers for 2017. If you would like to create a local event in your city and plug it together with all the other cities involved, read here to learn how to sign up your local event. Feel free to ask questions on our forum or get in touch. You can also sign up to our newsletter below to get info about the open global preparation and content creation events.
